CREEA Meeting - Real Estate Educator's Conference – San Diego –  February 28, 2006

  1. Approved minutes of October 28th meeting in Los Angeles.

  2. Number of members who have paid 2006 dues - 80 (including life members)

  3. Bank Balance is $3,650

  4. Website - The website www.creea.org has had minor updates but we need a volunteer to help with main update and overhaul.

  5. Directory - has been updated and will be emailed out to membership list in November. We need your current e-mail address. If you want it sent to your snail mail call Valerie DeCarlo at (714) 751-2787 - Ext.214.

  6. Norm Woest Award - Charlie Krackeler was nominated and approved for next year as outstanding real estate educator. Hyman Berston is current recipient.

  7. Instructor Teaching Aids and Tips Program - Joe Newman and Fred Martinez head up this program for presenting a 45 minute class at each of the Real Estate Educators meetings including the L.A. Meeting. We will email out highlights to CREEA Members.

  8. Real Estate Certificate Institute from CREEA for those students who have completed 8 real estate courses. Call Valerie DeCarlo for application at (714) 751-2787 - Ext. 214

  9. Personal Notes
    Lowell Anderson - who is 91 and attended the meeting.

  10. Next CREEA meeting will be in San Fransisco on April 28th, 2006 at the R.E. Educators Conference.

  11. Discussion on offering DRE course as part of Real Estate Educator's Conference.


  12. Same Board was re-elected for another term with addition of Mary Ellen Brady to the Board of Directors.
